Are you passionate about expanding access to mental health support? Anchor Point Initiative is seeking dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our Board of Directors.

About us

Anchor Point Initiative is a nonprofit organization that connects therapists and clients, raises funds to assist those who can’t afford therapy, and builds a strong referral network. Our mission is to ensure that mental health support is accessible and affordable.

Board Member Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to advance our mission
  • Participate in quarterly board meetings
  • Support fundraising efforts and network-building initiatives
  • Ensure ethical and financial accountability

Ideal Candidates 

We are looking for individuals with experience in:
✔  Mental health and therapy (licensed therapists, social workers, counselors)
✔  Nonprofit leadership
✔  Finance, legal, and compliance
✔  Technology and operations (digital platforms, networking systems)
✔  Community advocacy

Commitment and Expectations

  • Serve a two-year term (renewable)
  • Attend quarterly meetings
  • Advocate for Anchor Point Initiative’s mission within your network
